Standing -Mr. Okiror Francis CIDD presents service delivery issues to the Auditor General (AG).

CIDD-UG in partnership with CSBAG and the Office of Auditor General (OAG) are promoting the use of CFP. A digital platform, developed to provide information on deficiencies in service delivery and identifying risks for potential audit and investigations for the OAG. It was after monitoring public service delivery in Bukedi by CIDD-UG that a feedback meeting by OAG was organized to enable CIDD-UG to share the monitoring findings with the Auditor General staff and regional leaders.  During the regional stakeholders meeting held in Mbale City, Mr. Okiror Francis who represented CIDD-UG raised a few issues that included among others government heavy expenditure on opening of access roads which is not matched by its expenditure on maintenance, making the opened roads go back to poor state than the time they were opened.
CIDD-UG now plans to engage Government on hybridity of its expenditure on opening of access roads which are not being maintained. CIDD-UG has not only provided the OAG evidence to inform government future planning, execution of access road opening in Local Governments.
